“ALEXANDRU IOAN CUZA” UNIVERSITY from IASI

”Alexandru Ioan Cuza”University from Iaşi is the oldest higher education institution in Romania. Since 1860, the university has been carrying on a tradition of excellence and innovation in the fields of education and research. With over 24.000 students, 15 faculties and almost 200 study programmes at Bachelor, Master, Doctoral level and 800 academic staff, the university enjoys high prestige at national and international level and cooperates with 286 universities world-wide. ”Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University is a member of some of the most important university networks and associations: the Coimbra Group, EUA – European University Association,  of Universities, University Agency of Francophony,  Utrecht Network, International Association of Universities, University Agency of Francophony and the Network of Francophone Universities (RUFAC). These partnerships offer the opportunity to experience changes, to have student and teacher mobilities and joint academic, research and strategy programmes. Research at the ”Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University is top level. In 2008, for the third year in a row, ”Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University was placed first in the national research ranking compiled on the basis of Shanghai criteria. Our teachers are involved in over 400 national and international research projects, with the logistic support of 24 research centers.  The ”Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University from Iaşi is renowed on a national level for its experience and quality of scientific research. The first national evaluation of scientific research in 2011 has shown that 12 out of total 17 research domain are top-rated. These results have contributed to the accreditation of university as an Advanced Research and Education University. Since 1998, the Socrates – Erasmus Programme has represented the main component and the most significant part of the international academic exchange at UAIC. More 70 cooperation agreements have been signed with universities from EU, Switzerland, Norway, USA, Canada, Chile, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Israel, South Africa, Cuba, Lebanon, Morocco etc. For the last 40 year, UAIC has also hosted an already traditional international summer school of Romanian language and civilization, in cooperation with the Romanian Ministry of Education, Young and Sports.

” GRIGORE T. POPA” UNIVERSITY  of  MEDICINE and PHARMACY  of  IASI

The P1 of project is “Grigore. T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy, an advanced research and education university, being accredited as an institution of research and development. Scientific research is a central component of the academic mission, providing an adequate formative educational process for undergraduate degree programs, Master and PhD programs.   Fundamental interdisciplinary and applied scientific research has led in the past five years to increased national and international visibility by publishing the works of researchers in ISI and CNCS journals or by presenting papers at prestigious international events. The financing from the national and international won projects is the main source for advanced research infrastructure development. Between 2006-2013 the University won a FP7 project as coordinator, is a partner in two FP7 projects, was a partner in a FP6 project, was conducting a total of nine applied research contracts from PN II program – PARTNERSHIP, was partner in 21 of the same type contracts and other 190 won projects from INNOVATION, CAPACITY, CEEX, NURC, IDEAS, HUMAN RESOURCES and bilateral cooperation programs. The “Grigore T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Iasi, through its team, will perform both formulation studies for proposed semisolid dosage forms and develop in vivo researches for tested formulas.

S.C. ESTER FARM S.R.L.  is a limited liability company registered in 2004 at the Commercial Registry with no. J/22/36/2004, Fiscal Code RO13650125, having as main activity the pharmaceutical product trade and the research in biotechnology, natural sciences and engineering.  The research activity in industry and experimental development represents a basic field of study lately, in view of developing technological prototypes and innovative services in the pharmaceutical field.
